Creating an event is free and takes about two minutes. You do not need to pay, add a card, or pick a plan first. Your QR code, upload link, gallery and live photo wall all exist the moment the event is saved.

Steps

  1. Go to Create account and sign up with email or Google. If you already have an account, log in.
  2. In the dashboard, click Create Event.
  3. Enter the event name (this is what guests see at the top of the upload page), the event date, and the event type. Wedding, birthday, corporate and conference each get a matching starter design; you can change it later.
  4. Click Create. You land on the event dashboard, where the Event URL & QR Code card shows your link and QR code.

What you get on the free plan

  • An event website and upload page guests open by scanning the QR code, with no app and no account.
  • Up to 100 guest photos, a live photo wall, basic RSVP and a song playlist.
  • An upload window that opens on your event date and closes 30 days after it. The gallery stays open to guests for 14 days after the event.

Paid plans lift the photo cap and extend both windows; see upload window and gallery viewing period. You can set everything up now and upgrade later without losing anything.

Next

Download your QR code, then test it: scan with your own phone, upload one photo, and check it appears in Manage Event Gallery.

Related questions

Do I need to pay to create an event?
No. Events are free to create and run on the free plan. You pay only if you want unlimited uploads, a longer window or features like PixelFind.
Can I create the event months before the wedding?
Yes. The upload window is tied to the event date you set, not the day you created or paid for the event.
