Two separate clocks start on your event date. Confusing them is the most common billing question we get, so here they are side by side.
| Plan | Guests can upload for | Guests can view the gallery for |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 30 days after the event | 14 days after the event |
| Small Event | 3 months | 12 months |
| Mid-Sized Event | 6 months | 12 months |
| Large Event | 12 months | 24 months |
Figures as shown on the pricing page comparison table on 6 September 2026; the pricing page is the source of truth if this table and it ever disagree.
The upload window
Opens on the event date. While it is open, the upload button shows on the event site and the QR code works. When it closes, the button disappears and guests who scan the code see the gallery but cannot add to it. Upgrading reopens the window at the new plan's length, counted from the event date.
The gallery viewing period
Also counted from the event date. When it ends, the gallery locks for guests: they see a notice that the free viewing period has ended and that every photo is safely stored. Nothing is deleted. The host can still open the dashboard, download everything, and unlock the gallery for guests by upgrading.
Both clocks move with the date
Change the event date under Edit Event Details and both windows recalculate. Neither clock counts the time before the event, which is why buying early costs you nothing.
