What an animated invitation actually is
An animated digital invitation is a web page, not a video or a PDF. Guests tap a link, the invite opens with motion and music, and everything stays live — a countdown that keeps counting, an RSVP button that records replies, and details you can correct after sending. A printed card cannot do any of that, and a video of a card cannot either.
Because it is a link, it travels the way people already share things: WhatsApp, iMessage, email. There is no app to install, nothing for guests to sign up for, and no per-card printing cost when your list grows by twenty people the week before.
Every design has its own choreography
These are not one template in five colourways. Each design carries its own motion — how the cover opens, how sections arrive as you scroll, how ornaments settle — so the feel of the invite matches the feel of the day rather than a shared animation with different fonts. Open any design's live sample to see the real motion on your own phone before choosing.
Common questions
How much does an animated design cost?
Animated designs are included with every paid Event plan — Small, Mid-Sized and Large — with no separate charge. They are not available on the Free plan.
Can I edit details after sending?
Yes — that is the main advantage over print. The link stays the same, so a changed venue, time or dress code updates for everyone who already has it. Nobody is left holding an out-of-date card.
Do guests need an app or account?
No. The invite opens in any phone browser. Guests can view it and RSVP without installing anything or creating an account.
Does it work with the photo sharing?
Yes. The invite and your event website are the same EventPixel event, so the guests you invite are the guests who upload photos on the day — same link, same gallery, nothing to reconnect.
Can I send it to guests without phones?
Every invite has a matching event website you can print a QR code for, so guests who prefer paper still get a card that opens the same live details when someone scans it for them.
