How to change the event name, date or design

Edit the event name, date, cover photo and design from the event dashboard. The QR code and links stay the same after changes.

Nothing about an event is locked after you create it. Name, date, cover image, design and website content can all be changed, and your QR code keeps working because it points at the event, not at any of those details.

Name, date and basics

On the event dashboard, open Edit Event Details. Change the fields and save. The event date matters: the upload window and gallery viewing period are counted from it, so move it if the event moves.

Design and template

Click Customizer under Manage My Event Site to switch templates, colours and fonts. Free events get the starter design for their event type; paid events can use every template including the animated ones.

Website text, schedule and story

Website Content holds the story, schedule, venue details and registry links. Manage Features lets you turn sections of the site on or off, for example hiding the playlist or the guestbook.

Language

The language guests see on the upload page and gallery is set under Settings, then Event Language. It is independent of the language you use in the dashboard.

Deleting the event

At the bottom of Settings there is a Danger Zone with the delete action. Deleting removes the gallery and cannot be undone, so download your photos first.
