Per file: 10 MB
Each photo or video a guest uploads must be under 10 MB. The upload page checks before sending, so an oversized file is flagged immediately rather than failing after a long wait. Typical phone photos are 2 to 6 MB and always fit.
Per event: 100 on Free, unlimited on paid
A free or not-yet-activated event holds 100 guest photos. When the cap is reached, guests see a message asking the host to activate the event. Upgrading lifts the cap instantly and the guest can retry without re-selecting. Paid plans have no photo count limit, subject to the fair usage policy, which exists to stop people using an event as a cloud backup, not to cap a big wedding.
Videos
Short clips fit under 10 MB: roughly 10 to 20 seconds at 1080p, less at 4K. Longer clips will be rejected by the size check. If video matters for your event, ask guests to record in 1080p and keep clips short, or to send long videos to you directly. We are honest about this: EventPixel is built for photos first.
Guests: no limit
There is no cap on the number of guests who can scan and upload. Two hundred people uploading at the same moment is a normal Saturday.
Original quality
Guest uploads are stored at the size the guest sends. The host downloads originals; the gallery shows optimised versions for speed.
