The default
Anyone who has the event link or scans the QR code can open the event site, upload, and view the gallery. That is deliberate: it is what lets a guest's grandmother contribute without an account. The link is long and unguessable, and the event is not listed anywhere public unless you choose to add it to a public photographer portfolio.
What is never public
- Your dashboard, guest list, RSVP responses and messages. Only you and co-organizers see those.
- Guests' email addresses. Guests who sign in for PixelFind are not visible to other guests.
- Selfies used for PixelFind; see PixelFind privacy.
Narrowing access
- Event Password (Settings, then Privacy & Security): one shared password for the whole event site. See password-protect your event.
- Enable Downloads off: guests can look but not save. Require login to download: they can save, but only after signing in.
- Allow Anonymous Uploads off: uploading requires sign-in.
- Show QR code on the wall off: people watching the screen at the venue do not get the link from it.
Search engines
Event pages are not submitted to search engines and are not linked from the marketing site. A guest could forward the link, as they could a shared album link; the password is the answer if that worries you.
We do not use your photos
Photos are yours. They are not used for advertising, training or anything beyond serving your event. The privacy policy and security page have the detail.
