By default guests can download any photo from the gallery. Two switches under Settings, then Gallery Settings, control this.
Enable Downloads
On by default. Turn it off to remove the download button from every photo in the guest gallery and the lightbox. Hosts and co-organizers can always download from the dashboard regardless of this setting.
Require login to download
Off by default, which means anyone with the gallery link can download without an account. Turn it on and guests are asked to sign in before a download starts. Use this when you want to know who took copies, for example at a corporate event with press photos. It only applies while Enable Downloads is on.
What guests can download
- Single photos from the gallery or lightbox.
- Their own PixelFind matches in one batch, with Download All My Photos, on plans that include PixelFind.
Guests do not get the full-event ZIP; that is host-only. See download all photos.
Quality
Guest downloads are the original files, not the optimised gallery previews.
