Not everyone uses the form. Older relatives reply by phone, friends reply in the chat. Add them yourself so the guest list is the single headcount.
Steps
- Open the event and click My Guest List / RSVP / Registrations.
- Click Add Guest.
- Fill in Guest Name (required) and Party Size, the total number of people in that party including the named guest.
- Optionally add Contact (phone or email) and Notes (dietary needs, table wishes, "arriving late").
- Choose the RSVP Status: Attending, Maybe or Not Attending. Attending is the default, since a guest you add by hand has usually just told you they are coming.
- Save.
Party size, explained
A couple with two children who reply as one household is one guest entry with Party Of 4. Headcount reports and the CSV use Party Of, so enter households the way the caterer counts them, not the way the invitations were addressed.
Editing and removing
Click Details on any guest, then Edit, to change the name, party size, RSVP status, contact or notes; this works on entries guests submitted themselves too. A guest's answers to your custom questions are theirs and stay as submitted. Remove deletes an entry; use it for duplicates when a guest both replied in the chat and later used the form.
Importing a spreadsheet
There is no bulk import yet. For a list of 20 or 30 hand-replies, adding them one by one takes about ten minutes. For larger lists, send the guest list link to guests and let the form do the typing.
Guest list and PixelFind are separate
Being on the guest list does not give a guest any access. Access to the gallery is by link or QR code, and PixelFind needs each guest's own sign-in. See who can see my gallery.
