Every event website ships with an RSVP section. On a Free event it is the default form: name, party size, attending or not, and an optional note. Paid plans unlock the form builder, which is where meal choices and invitation codes live.

Where the form lives

Guests see it on your event site under the RSVP section, reached from the event link or the QR code. You can hide the section under Manage Features by turning off RSVP. Free events are live from the moment you create them; a paid event's RSVP opens on the activation date you chose at purchase, and the button reads "RSVP opens on activation" until then.

Build the form (paid plans)

  1. Open the event in your dashboard and click Setup RSVP Form under Your Guestbook.
  2. Event Schedule: click Add Event to create each thing guests can RSVP to separately, for example Ceremony, Reception, Rehearsal Dinner. Each has a name, date, start and end time and location. Guests then tick the events they are attending.
  3. Custom Questions: click Add Question. Choose Multiple Choice for a meal choice ("Chicken, Fish, Vegetarian") or song request, or Short Response for a free-text answer such as allergies.
  4. Contact details: tick Collect guest's email, phone number or address if you need them. Each extra field costs a few responses, so ask only for what you will use.
  5. Set RSVP Invitation Code: type a code such as LOVE2026 and tick Require code to submit. Print it on the invitation. It stops uninvited people who find the link from RSVPing.
  6. Save. The live form updates immediately.

Meal choices, specifically

Add one Multiple Choice question per course you need counted. Answers appear per guest under Question Responses on the guest list and in the CSV export, so you can total them for the caterer. See read and export responses.

Testing

Submit one RSVP yourself from your phone, then remove it from the guest list. It takes a minute and catches a missing event or a typo in the code before invitations go out.
