An animated invitation on EventPixel is not a video file. It is your event website itself, in one of the animated designs, with a tap-to-open entrance, optional background music, a live countdown and the RSVP form on the same page. You share it as a link, so there is nothing to print or attach.
Steps
- Open the event, click Customizer, then Design, and pick one of the five designs marked ANIMATED. Each has its own choreography; the preview plays it.
- Go to Manage Features. Turn on Grand Entrance so the site opens like an invitation that guests tap to step inside. It shows once per guest.
- Optionally turn on Background Music and pick a track. Music starts after the tap, which is what browsers require.
- Fill in the hero text, date and venue under Website Content. The countdown reads your event date automatically.
- Share your event link on WhatsApp, by email or by text. Guests open it in the browser; nothing to install.
Plans
- Preview any design free: the animated invites page lets you open every design without an account.
- Applying an animated design to your event needs a paid plan. Every paid plan, including Small Event, includes all five.
- Grand Entrance and Background Music are paid features too; on Free the toggles are shown but locked.
Sending it well
Send the link with one line of context ("Tap to open our invitation") because the preview card in WhatsApp shows a static image, not the animation. Send it from your own phone first to check the music and the RSVP.
After the invite
The same link becomes the photo-sharing page on the day: the QR code on the tables points at it, and guests who already opened the invite recognise it. One link for the whole event is the point.
